The actions of the employees reflect the hospital. Unless you terminate the staff member the hospital is not absolved of any wrongs.
Medical staff who put health care first and foremost. Well done to the everyday hero who gave clear and firm advice.
It is never acceptable for a medical professional to call a patient a loser for any reason. Take vaccines out of the issue and the nurse is still wrong. While I don't believe her opinion is that of the hospitals, how they have decided to handle it appears to be their down fall. Fire the nurse and call it a day. She put herself in this situation when she wrote that note and now the hospital is doing the same by not letting her go. I bet she feels a little like Natalie Maines. Allowing Nurses that call their patients Idiots is not acceptable!
Your staff needs to be sensitive to people who do their own research on vaccines. I never understood how un-vaccinated kids can be a threat to vaccinated kids???
As a parent of a child who received a severe vaccine injury, I cannot believe you would employ someone who left a note for a parent in the ER that clearly shows a frowning face and the words "Loser" written on it in reference to not vaccinating. How ridiculously rude and unprofessional! It is a matter of CHOICE and for those who have learned the reality of vaccinations and the detriments of them, I would say those who DON'T vaccinate are the "Winners".
