I bought a 2019 Honda Accord from Priority Honda in March of 2023. The dealership put my tags on the car for me. It is now March 2024 and I just renewed my tags through ***and Honda contacted me to let me know they gave me the wrong tags a year ago. I have been driving around with unregistered tags that do not even match my registration for a full year now. I bought a 22 Honda here two years ago. For the past 4 months I’ve had constant radar issues with my car, the previous 6 times it was covered under warranty. Till my most recent visit to their service department where they quoted me 2K to fix it. When I pressed further as to why it wasn’t covered they claimed damage that was to the undercarriage over a foot behind the radar unit. Wednesday August 16, called Honda service dept regarding my car not starting. I tried 5x, engine would not turn over, on the 6th try, it did. The rep I s/w quoted me $****** for diagnostic & I said I'll drop it off later. Once off, I went by both advance & auto zone to get a diagnostic both their devices read, bad alternator. This place has fallen so far it's crazy. I've spent so much money here and they pull a bait and switch on me. Quoted me one price for tires on the phone, arrived to drop the car off for service (taking time out of two people's day to get the car there and get me home), and when I show up all of a sudden the parts aren't there/won't work, but this other brand that's ****more per tire is in stock and I can go ahead and get those on. I received texts from **** ******** after my car was towed to Priority Honda Hampton asking to appraise my car. I was not surprised because this is the third dealership that has wanted to buy my car. Given the current circumstances- I know they are desperate and their lot is basically empty. They went as far to prematurely diagnose my car and tell me it needed a new transmission before it was ever even looked at by a technician to try and make a sale. On Monday, October 11, 2021 I had my **** Honda Civic serviced, an oil change and tire rotation. I was at 25% but decided to go ahead and have it serviced earlier instead of the normal 15% b/c I started a new job and wouldn't have any other time during the week. Anyway, the service lady **** called me about 12:30 (which I dropped my car off about 8:20) with some recommendations and stated I needed an alignment. Leased a Honda from Priority Honda Hampton and when I was going to trade or sell they begged me to let them have a chance to buy it first. They bought the Honda, but said I would get a check once they had paid off the car and got the title. It has been three weeks and still no check. When I asked why I had to wait on them to get THEIR title, they gave me the run around as if I was stupid. I guess I was for not insisting on my money. The leased car and title is owned by Honda. It is a ******* practice in the automobile industry that the funds are not disburse before we receive the title because the vehicle cant be sold without a title. Due to Covid-19 *** is very slow to process titles, and Honda Finance had most of their staff working from home as do we in our accounting office. Most horrible experience ever. On the phone I asked for a female sales associate. When I arrived they partnered us with ***** Should have been my 1st warning. We purchased a ****** ******** on a Saturday that was to be delivered in about a week. Put a ***** down payment on the vehicle. 4 days later when I called, I found out it was sold before our contract was finalized the day we were there, but no one informed us.
