A little confused by some of the reviews. While this location is great, the apartment I lived in was not in the best condition. The landlord and maintenance were responsive sometimes, and completely unresponsive other times. The maintenance requests that are submitted to the online portal or the phone number attached never get acknowledged. Noise also carries in these apartments. Having resided in this apartment complex for six years, I can genuinely say it was an enjoyable experience. Simon and Ceaser were exceptional, promptly addressing any concerns that arose. The location is fantastic, with downtown Chestnut Hill, the Wissahickon trail, and numerous restaurants and bars within walking distance. Parking wasn't a problem, and the neighbors were friendly. I lived in this complex for 3 years and loved my apartment. Such a cute spot close to Mt Airy and Chestnut Hill. Landlord is friendly and responsive and the same with the maintenance staff. Such an affordable spot in a great area. Would have kept living there if I didn’t move to AZ. Would highly recommend!
My husband & I lived at Princeton Gardens (PG) for 5 years w our 2 small dogkids. The surrounding neighborhood & the complex are beautiful and it's very, very quiet! I call PG the "darling of Mt Airy"... it's a very sweet place to live. Simon, the landlord, is an honest, good good man ; Ceasar, maintenance, fixes whatever needs fixing on the asap (and I truly mean asap). It is a well maintained , bug-free!- decent sized- quiet, charming place to live .... and you can also get a garage :). You'll be glad you moved in
I'm writing this review much later than I intended but overall my family and I enjoyed the year we spent at this apartment complex. Our neighbors were friendly for the most part (there's always 1 or 2 obnoxious people but that's life), the rent is affordable, there is a laundry room on site ($1.50 per load), heat and water is included in the rent, and it's pet friendly (cats preferred but dogs are ok).
