Absolutely terrible experience every time. Will be leaving the area, because if you need help this hospital will let you suffer Rude staff, rude nurses, rude practitioners.
Stay away from this place I went in because my wrist was hurting after the gym. I was told that if I wanted an X-ray to see if it was broken, I would have to go through the Emergency Room. I agreed because I was concerned about a possible fracture. The visit itself was very brief. I received a quick exam and a wrist X-ray, and no additional treatment was provided. This hospital should be a last-resort-only hospital when nothing else is available. I brought my infant son in when he had RSV and was almost hypoxic. They put him on the wrong mix of oxygen with not enough pressure. I had to leave AMA in order to protect my son from them.
This is a great hospital, I had an emergency and they fixed me up. I got the help and knowledge I need to take care of myself. Doctors and staff are awesome, so nice. Thank You UVA Health Prince William!!
