HIGHLY Recommended! Sabrina is amazing! – I hadn't had my hair done in about a year, and it was a complete MESS. The last time I got my hair done had been the final step in returning to blonde from black, a process which began in the Midwest, and involved a lot of pretty awful coloring processes. I showed up to Sabrina with yellow tinged hair, 5in long dirty blonde roots, darker brown tinted tips, extremely over due for a cut. Sabrina is such an amazing person inside and out, she has managed to do my hair with incredible style, and she can manage any type of hair, i personally know that it is challenging to cut my hair, shes an outstanding human being. I suggest to get your hair done by her this includes anybody and everybody.
Best Stylist Ever – I just returned from having my color and cut done by Andrea. She's cut my hair a few times prior to this coloring event, and I have been happy with the cut...but this color! Perfect. She has the magic combination of technique, creativity and authenticity. Run, don't walk to have a chance to try Andrea yourself, you will be so glad you did! Yay Andrea.
Fabulous!!! – I have had my hair dresser for 15 years so when I moved I never thought I would find a stylist I loved...but I did! Jamie was FABULOUS....my hair is long and thick so it's not easy but I love my cut and color. I would recommend her to my friends.
Jamie is AWESOME – I've been seeing Jamie since her pre-Primp days and I'm so dang in love with her. I have long, thick hair that's probably a huge pain in the a** to work with but I'm 100% thrilled with my cut and color every time I leave the salon. She gives me straightforward feedback ("Angie, I don't think you're going to be a happy gal if I give you bangs) and doesn't mess around - she knows I like to get in and out of there as quickly as possible. Get thee to Jamie's chair - you won't be disappointed.
Best Hair Salon in Town! – When I first moved to Portland a few years ago, I jumped from salon to salon. Then I found Primp, and haven't been elsewhere since. I have seen both Summer and Lisa many times, and they are both absolutely wonderful and talented. The space is open and inviting with a lot of light, even on the grayest of days. I have recommended Primp Salon to tons of people and will continue to do so. Thank you!
Beth P Rocks Hair – Beth P is the most amazing and skillful hairdresser I have ever had. I'm the type of woman who needs to change my hair constantly, the color, the cut, the eyebrows....I have always left Beth feeling more beautiful and sexy than when I walked in. When I serendipitously met Beth, I already had a hairdresser who was really really good, but Beth's electrifying and magnetic personality drew me in. Haircut...not so great – I made an appt with Beth based on some of the reviews. I asked for an A-Line Bob. The next day I noticed that one side was longer than the other and it really wasn't an A-Line Bob, the front did not fall forward as an A-Line should. Beth did offer to fix it, but it was hard to go with uneven hair. I made an appt somewhere else and the stylist said the left side of my head was a good 1/2" longer than the right side. I lucked out! – I moved to Portland from Alexandria, Va. almost a year ago and one of the hardest things about moving was leaving my wonderful hair stylist who had been doing my hair for several years.
