I have to thank Primo Italian American Cuisine for their efforts in providing the perfect setting for my proposal dinner. The owner, hostess, and other staff were incredibly accommodating even though my plans were all impromptu. They specifically sat us in the back, where it was quiet and had lesser people to give us more privacy. Everything was perfect, from the food to the service (the food was exquisite). I highly recommend visiting this restaurant if you are ever in the Gurnee, IL area. I cannot thank them enough.

We dined at Primo for Thanksgiving and it was fabulous! Traditional Thanksgiving fare was there but, other choices too; steak, salmon and pasta. No worries about leftovers, we had plenty. Their stuffing, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, cranberry sauce and gravy and of course turkey were sublime, yum, yum, yum. It was the perfect place for us.

My wife and I dropped by on Sunday (11/20/16). I had the spaghetti with a large meatball. It was good. My wife had the Chicken Parmesan. With angel hair pasta. It was great. Will go back again.
Had a wonderful experience for my 1st time here.My husband planned a birthday dinner for me of about 16 people.Upon arriving we were seated promptly. MARKO was our server and was very attentive and patient from the start and had great recommendations from the menu.He had no problems handling such a large group. I have been wanting to try this new venue since it opened. We went last night the service was excellent, foods outstanding and after dinner we had a drink in the bar and enjoyed the live music and the company of our friends. Nickole one of the owners stopped by our table throughout the night and its great to see a national non chain restaurant dong so well. Beautiful decor and atmosphere. Attentive staff without being overbearing. Gnocchi was excellent and the New York strip steak was tender and flavorful. Had a wonderful meal and enjoyed it. It took us a long time to try it but will be back soon. So nice to get a great meal in Gurnee without having to fight traffic and the hassles of traveling toward the city.

We went for our anniversary and had no reservation but were seated quickly. Dinner was amazing. We had the steaks, potatoes and asparagus, DELICIOUS! Then we had a tiramisu-lady finger dessert with some alcohol...YUM! I would definitely recommend this place!
Dont ever eat here! Food over priced and the chefs...well that's going too far calling them chefs...enough said, don't say I didn't warn you! Oh did I mention their food sucks!
