After four years, I’m revisiting this review. It remains a five-star restaurant, one of the best in the Triangle, and easily one of the top five BBQ places in North Carolina. They consistently innovate by adding new menu items. And guess what? They finally added cornbread! Every dish served is of the highest quality. The service is always exceptional, with Pietro, the owner, regularly interacting with customers. This is a prime example of how restaurants should be run. Delicious food, great atmosphere, lots of room inside and outside. Very clean and welcoming staff. Try it, you will not be disappointed.
Unbelievable, the culture of this place. Start to finish, so many touches of hospitality. Yes, the BBQ is world class, but I was impressed by how every single employee we encountered had a fierce dedication to making sure our experience was 5 star. This culture exists in the South, of course, but Prime BBQ takes it to the next level. We are off, back to California. But when we return to NC for a visit, this will be our first stop. Well done, guys.
You know it's good when you walk into a Happy Patient line.
Entered the line on Friday around 11.40, ordered the food at 1.15. They give you food right away, so no wait once you actually stick it out and get to the counter. Tried beef rib, brisket, sausage, green beens, baked beans, sweet potato salad, and rice. And of course blueberry cobbler! All were delicious. We ordered a lot and had 2 full to-go boxes left for dinner.
