I have over $3,000 in bills AFTER insurance… and they missed the actual diagnosis. We took my 18 month old in to the ER in the middle of the night for a fever of 103+. They checked her ears but the doctor said he couldn’t get a good look “because she was crying”. They did a catheter, ultrasound, meds and were told it must be viral and to go home. I understand that switching to the Epic system in Sept 2025 has caused a lot of stress on both ends, but updating my daughter's "care team" with the provider she actually sees on the mychart portal should NOT be so difficult/impossible. Since mychart does not allow me to make the change for my daughter online, I've now contacted both the front desk and then technical support for mychart as they advised--both say they CANNOT update/fix it. Both sides also say the other should be able to updayte/fix it. So, we are at an impass... read more
