Dr Henderson & team were amazing. Great bedside manner, very very thorough & informative. Did not rush. Explained things in a way parents & kids can all understand, provided treatment plan everyone agrees with and feels comfortable with. So knowledgeable in her field. Worth the long travel to see this team!
If you ever “see” a pulmonologist it would be a miracle. Most people around this hospital joke that you never actually see them in person. Working with this department was the absolute worst part of the experience. Do yourselves a favor and go somewhere else if your child needs pulmonary care. I recommend Dr. Kathleen Pfeffer. She was the the polar opposite experience. She actually saw my child, was brave enough to think outside the box. She got my child the help they needed.

I couldn't be more grateful to this team in diagnosing and treating my daughters cystic fibrosis. We are there very frequently and I never leave without feeling like I was a priority. Best medical team you will ever work with!
