I just experienced an unpleasant behaviour from an employee named Kat. Her attitude was disrespectful. From the look on her face, it felt like she was about to bite my head off.
A great store, however it pays to shop around before you purchase. Currently they have men's Paco Rabanne Black XS EDT 100ml for $180.00. I asked one of the shop assistants there if they price match as The Chemist Warehouse at Mount Gravatt has the identical Paco Rabanne Eau de Toilette 100ml for $79.99. I told them their price is more than double that of The Chemist Warehouse's price, and they said that unfortunately they don't price match. I saw a brow shaper at another Priceline and wanted to buy it, but they only had a tester. So I took a photo and came to Garden City Priceline to ask about it. When I showed the photo to the staff, they looked at me strangely because I didn’t take a photo of the brand name ( accidental). But kind ‘Lily’ looked at the font and immediately recognised the brand and helped me find it. That Asian girl who gave me that unpleasant look clearly needs a bit more training in customer service.
I had such a great experience today thanks to Shirin who went above and beyond to help me. She took the time to understand what I needed and patiently talked me through the best options available for everything I was after. Super friendly, knowledgeable, and so helpful. This place has horrible service and they no longer price match which makes them useless as their prices are 40+% higher than chemist warehouse. The service is also terrible. They told me to wait 5-10 minutes for medication and when I came back 15 minutes later they said they didn’t have the medication and I had to wait another 10 minutes for them to grab it from a nearby store. Then I had to wait in line for another 5 minutes as there was only 1 person at the counter only to be told that they don’t price match.
