Worst Company EVER – The absolute worst rental mgmt company ever! When we moved in, we had to pay up front 1st and last months rent, plus security deposit and pet deposit. We never once did a walk through in the beginning nor at the end. Prior to us moving out, we provided the 30 days written notice. After we vacated the premises we received a deposit refund notice where they double charged us for the last months rent, and then went on to say we had to pay for a bunch of other bs and for me to contact them in 30 days to make... read more
Horrible Managers! – This rental company is as bad as they come. I would not recommend renting anything from them or using them to rent out your property. I rented an apartment from them, it was a huge mistake. They had no regaurd for privacy or my legal rights. They illegally entered my unit several times at their own free will. When asked about this they said, "oh, we called you and told you 2 days in advance". Funny, I never got that phone call and legally you are supposed to give written notice. Managing my Home for over 5 Years – I have owned my rental home in Seattle for about 15 years. The first 10 were horrible; I thought I could do everything by myself. From time to time, I got great renters, but when I got a bad one... I GOT A BAD ONE!! Flooding basement... Prestige is a landlord you would want to have!!! – I've rented from Prestige for a few years now and love them as landlords. I recommended them to a friend recently who looked them up online and seen some bad comments on them. Home Owners -- Don't Use This Company! – Prestige Rental Management was hired to rent the house next door to me for approximately two years. It was unrented for three months, then we had three 20 year old guys who were most obnoxious. During this time, however, what was once a beautiful yard turned to solid weeds, there were blackberry vines starting to creep under the fence, the once beautiful rhododendrons had a summer with no water, and the tenents refused to take responsibility. Looking & Looking – I moved to Seattle from out of town a few months ago. I kept looking around the downtown area and realized it wasnt for me. I stayed in a hotel for about a month, looking all over for a place that I liked. I seen an ad in the Herald Newspaper for Prestige and decided to stop by. They didnt have anything for me right away, but I recieved a call from the receptionist about a week later; she found something within the gidelines I was looking for. Everything has been great so far.
Excellent Landlord – I have only rented from Monica for about two years, and have had great service. 2 years ago I was divorcing my husband and needed a rental ASAP. It was for me and my two kids. Monica found a place for me that I could afford and that was great for my family and I. We love our neighbors and whenever there is a work repair, everything gets done right away. Horrible service – I rented with Prestige for a 1-year lease and I had a horrible time getting them to respond. Our house had major plumbing problems and every time we called they gave us a different excuse. We had to end up going exclusively to the owner, who ended up firing Prestige. Monica was extremely rude, one time shouting at one of my roommates on the phone when he asked her to call him back with a follow-up call and then hanging up on him. Never Again. – This place is nothing but a joke. The ladies who run this office have no business running a business! Neither one have any class at all. If I had a choice to not give any stars thats what I would choose. Overrated, rude, inconsistent, unprofessional, uneducated and have a complete lack of common sense.
