Only set back very close to main road and lots of traffic noise all the time.Ear plugs were provided.
We stayed at the Prestige Kamloops Hotel as part of our Rocky Mountaineer Railroad journey, and it worked very well as an overnight stop. The location is convenient, with several restaurants within walking distance and a casino nearby for those looking for some entertainment. The hotel also has its own restaurant, which makes dining easy and hassle-free. Parking was plentiful and accessible, which we appreciated after a long day of travel. Rooms and hotel common spaces are clean. Beds comfortable and in house restaurant is very good. While the location is convenient, it is also right beside the highway and they did not splurge on triple pane windows. Instead of chocolate for turn down, you get ear plugs. That should tell you something. If you’re a light sleeper go elsewhere because you hear every car and truck passing on Hwy 1 at 100 km/hr day and night. Would likely not stay here again.
