The Best Dermatologist The doctor is kind and thorough and wonderful. Her staff is friendly and kept me at ease. She is wonderful and saved my life. Dr. Monticciolo found something other dermatologists thought was nothing and it was a cancer. So happy to have found women providers who are thorough and care to talk to their patients and examine them instead of brushing them off and saying their spot is nothing. Glad I found Prestige Dermayology and would recommend them to everyone!!
Hoity Toity I can't even explain what my experience was like. The Doctor swirled into the exam room dressed to the nines; hair out to here like she just came in from a photo shoot, makeup, long nails, dripping with jewelry, spike heels, fashionista with a short skirt, wearing an open lab coat with the sleeves fashionably folded up. She was followed by two of her assistants or medical students or whoever they were who were carbon copies of her. Ridiculous Charges! Prestige Dermatology drained my HRA account by charging me for unnecessary services/procedures! I was originally told that I would get 3 "pre-cancerous" spots removed at one particular appt. They called this procedure, "surgery". Once I arrived at appt, in "surgery" room, they told me that I would need to separate the "surgeries" and have one conducted each day that week because the numbing injection could cause heart palpations...even though, it was the SAME type of injection that they used on me 6 times... read more
Unethical Prestige Dermatology will charge you MORE (much more) if you have insurance than if you do not have insurance. That is some advice I learned the hard way. When they ask do you have insurance tell them NO! The only reason they got caught was my girlfriend had the same procedures done (plus more) before me (she recommended this place to me) without having any insurance, so I had an idea of how much it was going to cost me. Spider Vein Treatment I was treated by Dr.Monticello May, 2010, for spider veins using sclerotherapy. I have had the therapy many times by my dermatologist in Princeton, NJ. She did not appear to understand the procedure and simply injected the solution anywhere instead of into the ends of the spider veins. Not one vein disappeared. The charge is $270 not paid by insurance and is a total rip off. I am returning to my doctor in NJ this summer for the treatment.
Mr It's like an assembly line in there. Waiting room full of patients and you see them come in and out in a minute or 2.
Great bed side manner Dr. Monticello is beautiful and intelligent. She has a great bed side manner. Once she gets into your room she is quick and precise and she makes you feel comfortable. She offers a variety of services. Check her out if you can.
