On September 22, 1937, Presque Isle Electric & Gas Co-op, which at that time was known as Presque Isle Electric Cooperative, set its first pole in the village of Posen, Mich. The lines built that fall were the first energized by a cooperative in the state and brought electricity to 82 farm homes just in time for Christmas. I recently moved to Northern Michigan from downstate and I’m already tired of the power going out before the storms even hit. Ridiculous
well let see power goes out cause of a little rain storm and when you call you get no answer or a computer tell you people are aware of you outages but there is no way of saying how long it will take
Recommendedwe are seasonal customers and I have to say we have always had excellent service. Just arrived at our cabin this evening and no electric. They arrived within a half an hour and fixed the issue.
I hope PIE&G will bring high speed internet to their customers soon!
I've lost service more times in the past year with Pie& g than the previous 10 years with consumers. horrible experience. maybe you could keep the "kick back" and do something to help us keep service-
can't even get a answer they don't communicate power outages for no seaming reason when it is weather related it takes the forever to get it fixed and if that's not enough they charge the highest rates I've seen in Michigan
Thank you for tour hard and getting the power back and going to the neighborhood after the storm came through and knock the big tree over onto the power lines and closing Emerson Road in Alpena County and September 5th 2018
