Oh my goodness, what an amazing experience! My daughter had an emergency situation the 30th of June and ended up at Thorek Memorial because it was close. She had surgery there and after she went home had complications and we were directed to St. Joseph's ER! From the time we walked in the door of the ER, to the time we walked out the following evening to go home, we were treated with respect and such care!! Wonderful physicians and superb nurses! HAD MY FIRST BLOW UP WITH STAFF, AFTER BEING A PATIENT HERE FOR 17 YEARS UNDER MY PCP CARE... I WON'T LAY ALL THE BLAME ON THEM, BUT AFTER MY VOICE OF REASONING FAILED, THE OTHER SIDE WAS SO MUCH MORE EFFECTIVE... BOTTOM LINE IS I PREVAILED IN THE END, AND WILL BE TALKING ALL BUSINESS IN A FEW HOURS TO SOME KEY DEPARTMENT HEADS...
