RecommendedI was unfortunate enough to fracture my wrist whilst on vacation in Chicago from the UK in August. I was treated at St Joseph's and was very impressed with the care that I received. All of the staff that I encountered were extremely professional and although they were unable to reset the bone without surgery, I feel that I was given the best care possible under the circumstances. This meant that I was able to continue my vacation within three hours of being admitted.

Care is an important part of treatment. That comes through at St. Joe's cancer center. You expect the staff to be knowledgeable, professional and even courteous, but the staff here goes beyond that. They are friendly, compassionate; they see you as more than just a patient, but as a human being going through a difficult and scary experience. Im not sure where employees of St.Joseph at their 2845 Sheridan building get off arguing with patients family. I was called by ste 900 Illinois Retina Institute that my uncle after 3 hrs of exam/procedure was ready to go home. I was informed my uncle was heading toward the elevator. I first attempted to park with flashers to go to elevator and be near my elderly uncle who is with walker, just to make sure he wouldnt fall. We welcomed our fraternal twin boys Otto Augustin and Everett Owen friday, March 23. So grateful for the AMAZING team of nurses and staff at Presence who cared for our family during our stay. We had a wonderful experience!
