I found the entire practice professional & very kind & welcoming! My appointment was with Keenan Dodd, PA who was very helpful. He explained my X-rays in detail, listened to my complaints of pain & decreased mobility & offered different plans for treatment. Keenan was amazing!!
The scheduler I spoke with was kind, but the system itself is a disgrace. Making a patient in acute pain wait over 40 days to see any provider is completely unacceptable. Presbyterian’s inability to staff their facilities reflects a broken healthcare system that consistently punishes people for being sick or injured. Hospitals and insurance companies like Presbyterian should be held accountable for prioritizing profit over patient care.
Staff was rude. Not very helpful. When you call, everyone gives you different information. Very confusing and inconvenient
Dismissive in general. Unwilling to consider other options. Needed finger straightened. Did not want Kushner pin due to high incidence of increased arthritis in my age group. Basically told that I had to have the pin or “the surgery would not be successful. I suggested a partial cast etc. with incredulous look on face MD stated “then you couldn’t bend any other joints. Like 6 weeks in a cast (very common) would be so awful it was not considered. Did I mention dismissive? Bottom out come.. failure of kushner pin.
Unable to schedule appt as needed- rude staff who gave me misinformation re. same day scheduling online. Told me they had no record of my X-ray results and hung up on me.
