One of my best friends was admitted to the emergency room this evening. She sat there for 5 hours alone with an empty IV waiting for someone to tell her when her room was ready. She kept asking someone to get a new IV bag and that her arm was hurting her from the needle being in for so long and she was completely ignored. She just now got to a room and has called me multiple times crying her eyes out.
