I love Dr. Fontana and the medical staff. They listen and provide educated answers that don't make you feel stupid for asking. The front desk staff always seems annoyed when someone walks in or when I call I also get that same attitude/vibe, so that is the only reason I did not give 5 stars.
They never answer the phone Receptionists are always sassy when you try and ask questions. Not very helpful. Appointments are well over an hour and a half because they are always running behind. Never get in and out in a timely manner. I really enjoyed the NP we went to Corey. But she moved to Florida. Moved offices and have never looked back. If youre looking for somewhere that is actually helpful, try Town Center Pediatrics. Doctors are great. Receptionists are friendly and helpful and they answer the phone when you call.
TL/DR: NOT military friendly- do not recommend. After a few years out of the area, we are moving back to VB. We were patients of Dr. Wadsworth and loved her. I have recommended this particular office to so many of my friends, until now. Imagine my surprise when the receptionist told me that we are considered “new patients” because we haven’t been there in 3 years- and that they are no longer accepting new patients! 17 months after our visit I still suffer sleepless nights from the mistake Dr. Fontana made. My 4 day old had a low temperature and we were sent back to the hospital where she was born for follow up care. That hospital does not ever do remittance of newborns. We had to take our 4 pound baby to the ER at Leigh where they Jerry rigged supplies to figure out what was wrong.
