I had my first home visit, and my PreFix manager Edgar, was great. Walked me through the process, explained everything in detail, and was extremely helpful. I will be scheduling my first repair visit soon. I'm glad USAA offers this program to its members.
PreFix is a great option to help you stay ahead of home upkeep & repairs. They come twice a year to do a very extensive Maintenance Check & have either onstaff repair people or excellent resources for referrals. Just had 2 bathroom sink valves & one faucet set replaced & Evan did a great job. I'm very pleased. It especially helpful for seniors & (in my case) a widow.
I appreciate the service PreFix Austin provides. They have a solid HVAC team, and two times now, they've addressed issues with my AC unit that would have caused a lot of problems down the road if they hadn't found the issues during their routine checks. It is comforting to have help monitoring my house bi-yearly. I especially appreciate the tankless water heater descaling, cleaning the dryer vent, changing my ac and frig filters. PreFix also identified some plumbing fixture issues and recommend contacting Moen for free parts, then they came to fix things. All the technicians are respectful and polite as well as skilled.
