The dealer told me that he had a carfax but if I wanted to see it, I would have to drive to the dealership which is 180 miles from my location.

We did not have a Carfax account at the time. There is a fee to pull a Carfax on a car. If you did pull up the car fax we promised to reimburse you once a deal was made on the vehicle. I apologize for the misunderstanding
