The worst experience We hired Nathan Moses and with preferred home builders to do an addition to our home in Encino, We were promised high quality finished construction but what we got with Preferred was an office staff who never knew what was going on and very low quality construction. bad bad This outfit delivered very uneven results. They did a MBR bath remodel for us. They handled the heavy work well, like the demolition part. After that, they engaged some questionable subcontractors and were very unreliable on the final detail and finish. On the good side, they were responsive, and came back repeatedly until things were fixed. Best Contractor ever!!!! This was our 3rd experience with Tom & Preferred. Once again, Tom gave us a "guaranteed" start and end date which they once again hit perfectly. Again, no changes from his original quote. Tom literally held our hand as we picked out tile, travertine, and granite. We probably called Tom no less than 25 times from the stores we went to without him to pick out plumbing and fixtures. Not once was there ever a hint of "stop calling me" from Tom. Remodeling - Kitchen & Bathroom I have never experienced a contractor that didnt take advantage of me. Tom Pinhas and his entire crew are respectful, responsible and ethical. My experiences in the past have all left my believing that ethical contractor is an oxymoran. concerned homeowner After a recommendation from a fellow church member, we hired Preferred to do a major kitchen remodel. My sister in law is an architect and I, myself, have an architecture background, so we designed to kitchen together; she producing a detailed blue print. Into the project, it became clear that PHB's head foreman could not read a blue print. OMG what a great job Showed up on time,super fast and cleaned up afterwards!
They fixed my bathroom tile. They arrived on time and helped me on extra things besides tiles. This was my third time using them for remodeling my house. I will hire them for future projects!!
