I had two tires put on. These folks should get a job as a pit crew at a race track. Fast and efficient, and safe practices for Covid. I was able to pre-order the tires by phone, they had me drive it in and back out when the work was done so they were never in the car. The advisor was friendly and knowledgeable. Great experience all around.
Recently visited Preferred to have my front and rear breaks done and also get an inspection sticker. Customer service was excellent and my car was done on time, no issues. I will definitely be going back!
HORRIBLE. You will end up paying quite the pretty penny. They don't keep to set prices and after the job is done the price will be much higher than the agreed amount. This has happened to us on several occasions. Head gasket fix agreed with a promise of no more than $900 turned out to be $2000. After the job is already done you're left with no choice but to pay however much THEY charge you. Typical automotive scams nickel and diming you. My family and I and our business will no longer be doing business with them.
After living in the area for over 30 years, we finally found an auto repair shop that we feel confident in. We had major work done on my car and Dean was great. He explained everything so that we understood what was being done and why. I never once felt like we were being taken advantage of. My car is running like a new car and we now have a shop we can trust. It is a win win all around.
QUALITY SERVICE – We had just moved to the area and had hard time finding a trustworthy repair shop. We had tried couple other shop in area with no luck,then a co-worker mentioned Preferred Auto and we could not have been happier. They diagnosed our hard starting problem that no one else including the dealership couldnt fix. We tell anyone needing car repair to see Preferred they are the best in our book
Great Garage you can trust – I have always had my father fix my car when there was anything wrong (as he grew up working in his father's garage & junk yard and worked as a mechanic all his life). The Best In TOWN! – My truck had been stalling out when driving, that is not a comfortable experiance when on the highway . After numerous attempts by other shops and thier inability to fix it. I found Preferred Auto and Tire, the fixed it right the first time. Dean and crew are very friendly and honest. They explain to you what you don't understand, which really helps. I recommend Preferred Auto and Tire to anyone looking for a repair shop on the South Shore.

The Best Car Service in MA – I have been bringing my cars to Dean for 17 years, and no matter where I live/work, I will continue bringing my cars here for the excellent service and fair prices.
