Took my jeep to the service department for an oil change wipers and a multi point inspection for whatever else it needed. I knew it needed brakes and the tires are getting pretty low. My vehicle was never checked and a inspection wasn't performed which is a standard practice for mopar. RecommendedIn general, getting a new or used car/truck is fun and exciting. However, the process at the dealership isn’t. There’s the negotiation, wondering did you get the best deal even after you drove it off the lot and once you make the deal the process is long and exhausting. I brought my wrangler in for a warranty repair and they blamed me for it. They honored the warranty and repaired it anyway. It took a month to get the part and when I went to pick it up, they lost my keys.... the service department blamed it on the mechanics!!! The person I dealt with said, “we have a very simple system, but the mechanics just don’t care”. Very unprofessional!
I have a 2014 Jeep Cherokee LTD that I purchased at a dealership in Paramus, since I live in Kinnelon I have always had it serviced at Precision. For the last 6 years I have had more than a few issues with my car but have had great service experiences and Brian Pangione has always gone above and beyond to resolve all the problems I had. We all know a dealership is only as good as it's service department and Precision Jeep is A++ in my book.
Went a few weeks ago to look at cars and put down a refundable deposit. Salesman was wonderful, but I couldn't get to a number I wanted. Went elsewhere. Asked for my refund back in store, manager/owner that sits behind the desk (white male, glasses, orange hair) calls me over. Asks why I didn't take the car. I informed him that it wasn't gonna work out and that I don't need to provide him anymore information. Manager/owner screams at me and calls me a petulant child and that karma will get me.
