I purchased a brand new home from PRDC 1.5 years ago, and I at the time I had already read all the bad reviews they had garnered but figured I’d give them the benefit of the doubt. I had a horrible experience with PRDC Properties and would not recommend them to anyone looking for a rental in Center City (especially if you’re a nursing/medical/masters/etc student). The issues began right from the start, particularly with Shawntay, who was supposed to assist in the rental process. Her lack of responsiveness was appalling. The employees I interacted with that rep'd PRDC are decent. The ownership and their policies, however, are not. I rented one of their newly built properties on North Howard St and paid a premium. On top of the problems with the new home and failed fixes, I was charged $25 admin fees by PRDC each month while PECO struggled to transfer service to my name. After many months of phone calls, PECO sent a letter stating that they failed to do so and that I wasn't to blame. I sent this to PRDC. Nevertheless, they continued to charge... read more

Shawntay is a awful property manager. I had possible mold in the ceiling and told her about my health concerns and she ignored them. I asked for her manager and she said to 'email whoever I wanted" Reached out to seek assistance and one of the managers responded with a nasty message. I reported the issue well over 4 months ago and looks like the shawnty only brought it up recently. The whole company is terrible
