One star is because the single treatment they did ($280) was not effective, and they have failed to respond to my telephone inquiry and an email through their website. I had good experiences with ***** in Bay Village; this appears to be a different branch, or they have forgotten customer service. I moved into a new condo (yr built 1925) and had seen various insects including many ants in the basement. So scammed and disappointed in this company. I have been a loyal customer for twenty years! They have little to no care for rodent control even though they advertise as such and I pay them for this service. Over the years I have paid over 40 k at least in damages from moths and rats. I have a clean house. But apparently many rat entrances. I live in laurel canyon. They have been negligent, uncaring, causing repeated mild but damaging infestation. They quote one price and bill another, add services not requested, and ignore requests or delay/dodge requests to fix their errors. We were never given a contract except for an unsigned copy via e-mail, yet they sent 2 forged signature contracts with multiple duplicate billings to the loan company.

Western Exterminator practices unfair and dishonest business practices! Giving them 1 Star is too generous! I had them come out once to my home and paid them in full. I received a bill in the mail 6 weeks later for another service that was never done. It was a bill for a future date. The bill stated, "current amount due" payable upon receipt. I have never been billed for a service before it took place! I called the local office in Escondido, CA to report that I received a bill for services that were never rendered. The repre... read more

Dont use this company, was transferred from another company to a sister company of this one. Setup payment plan for monthly service.. they never took payment .. agent sent every four months to inspect residence and leave bug traps. was sent bills then to collections would call them to setup payment. csr would never return phone calls.

Beware, DO NOT USE THIS BUSINESS! One star is too much for this fraudulent company, but I am obliged to enter something, otherwise, I cannot leave my review. I reached out to my local online neighborhood network asking for referrals for a good exterminator (I had a few ants in my home in the spring of 2019). A neighbor (whom I didn't know) used this company and referred them to me. Beware. Shady company. I have been a long term customer. Paid up front for original pest control. Then have paid annually for a warranty. Saw termite activity in my home. Called for service. I did what was required of me. I called for service. Used all of the prompts appropriately to make a service appointment. A guy shows up. I assume he is there to do service. I show him where the suspected activity is. He spends an hour walking around my house. Maps out a sales plan. Then drops the bomb that he is the sales guy- not a ser... read more

We had a squirrel in our soffit. They came out and put a cage where they chewed a hole to trap the squirrel. Last night the squirrel was trapped. I called 8am for them to take the squirrel to another location. The said they could not come until tomorrow. Well with all this heat the squirrel died in the cage. This is animal abuse. Once the squirrel is trapped you need to come out asap to release it.
