I have seen Dr. Patel previously. I have not seen him in over 2 years as I have been in perfect health. I have lost 50 pounds, I swim 2 miles a week, my part time job 3 or 4 days a week gives me 17000 steps per day worked. I monitor my blood pressure and eat well. I have chosen not to go for requested pre-diabetes tests as they are not necessary. Dr. VIJAY JUNEJA: Didn't rush thru my appointment. He discussed all aspects of my Diabetec Meds, better usage, and the reasoning for it! However, his staff, (requesting, a prescription), needs help! Not knowing how to, & Incorrectly filling out a form, cost me $165.00, because they left out my diagnosis #. Now I have to submit a bill to my insurance companies, (3) for total reimbursement! ( New Test Meter, & Test Strips!
I called their office and tried to get a prescription refiled. I was told I needed to schedule an appointment. They had always called me to schedule appointments previously but I figured they had been closed during Covid-19 or something. So they transferred me to the front desk for scheduling an appointment. I was told I had a $5 outstanding account balance. They transferred me to billing. I called their office today and talked to Tracey. Even though we are not their patient of record she was very helpful and kind. She was patience in explaining insurance questions and kind to say to call her back if I have any other questions regarding insurance. I really appreciated her help and will recommend this office to anyone. Would love to transfer but live about 45 minutes from your office.
