Can’t pass it without stopping! For many years I lived in Houston and traveled to south Texas on 59. For the last 13 years I’ve lived in south Texas and drive to Houston on 59. Hilje Prasek’s Smokehouse is always where I stop!!! My daughter grew up going in there. I remember the one room store. Always a line for the one restroom back then! Best jerky around among other things. I could go on!!!

We stop every time we’re in town
Products are all fantastic! Getting help to actually get baked goods or meats is difficult! Customer service needs attention. Every counter personal acted like we were a bother! We will still stop because we love this place The employees could learn a lot from Buccee’s

Great place to stop and a favorite of our boys. Only disappointment was our sons dirt bike got stolen yesterday as we were parked out front. However management helped us call the sheriff, just hope they figure out who stole it.
