RecommendedCan’t pass it without stopping! For many years I lived in Houston and traveled to south Texas on 59. For the last 13 years I’ve lived in south Texas and drive to Houston on 59. Hilje Prasek’s Smokehouse is always where I stop!!! My daughter grew up going in there. I remember the one room store. Always a line for the one restroom back then! Best jerky around among other things. I could go on!!!
