If you're looking for some good bbq right off the highway put this place on your list. Great bbq and atmosphere
A very confusing place to eat, they ask you to pay for your food before you eat but you order on one side and eat in the middle and then pay on the other side. They served my husband a loaded baked tater, with hardly any toppings - it was dry. I got sliced link sandwich, saturated with sauce and unable to tell if the sausage was actually good or not. There is lots to look at and buy there, like a small version of Buccee's. We probably won't go back.
Hillje is my favorite but decided to stop in on the one in El Campo. Very disappointing and disgusting. Jerky is our favorite but when we stepped up it was infested with flies and the jerky was exposed for every species. Decided to pass on our purchase. A suggestion cover fresh food!!!!
Can't go to El Campo without stopping at Prasek's!
