Prairiewoods Franciscan Spirituality Center is an eco-spirituality retreat and conference center located on 70 acres of woods and prairie in Hiawatha, Iowa. We welcome people of all faiths and cultures to walk our trails, get a massage or spiritual direction, participate in a program or retreat, buy a spiritual gift in our Gift Shop, or simply be in the beauty of nature. HOURS: Prairiewoods is always open 8 a.m.-5 p.m. on weekdays, but we are also open most evenings and weekends. Please call for specific hours.

a beautiful space to coexist and celebrate the nature of it all.
So many wonderful programs. I just wish they had them more often. Singing Tibetan bowls and meditative forest walks are my favorites.
I love this place...attended a ceramics class there last night and it was wonderful. To top it off we got to enjoy the beauty of the outdoors as we worked inside.
The minute I turn onto the driveway I feel myself relax and absorb the peace.
