Happy with PVAH We LOVE Dr. Daly! He saved our cat's life when she was attacked by a fox years ago. Since then, we have had other sweet little creatures and he has taken superb care of each and every one of them. We have Tootie who adopted us (walked into the family room one October night and stayed)! She was just a kitten and soooo sick, but Dr. Daly saved her life, too and got her back to excellant health. This is one caring, generous, knowledgable veterinarian! We wouldn't go anywhere else.

One happy dog owner I have been taking my dog there for five years and he loves it there. My dog was abused by his previous owner, so when I first got him he was very timid around other people. Not so with these vets, he has always loved going there. They have helped me and my dog out a lot. And to also respond to "Conflict of interest", they told me up front that they owned both businesses. They aren't trying to hide anything, besides everyone knows that when you get a full breed dog you run the risk of them having health p... read more

MDC We've purchased 4 dogs at Land of Paws since 1995. We've had 2 pets pass away and currently have 2 dogs, so we've seen their abilities with our dogs for the full life cycle. The vets at PVAH are genuine, honest, and caring. I have used them for kenneling, annual care, and larger proceedures when necessary. I trust them and their advice 100% and would go to them with anything. We moved further away, and switched vets temporarily- and I don't feel we received as high quality of care - so now I make the drive. They are grea... read more

Ruthie K I think "Conflict of Interest" is an idiot. PVAH is terrific. My dog is 18 and they have taught me how to give her fluids at home. We can call anytime, even when the vets are out of town or on vacation. Wouldn't go anywhere else, even though there are several vets between our home and PVAH. They are worth the drive and worth the wait!

Compassionate, Competent Care Abound at PVAH In response to Conflicting Interest, I have purchased two dogs from Land of Paws. I purchased my dogs there because of the affiliation with PVAH. I had a 4-year-old dog who was badly injured and two different vets told me there was nothig that could help him and that he wouldn't live long because of the severe injuries. Someone told me about Dr. Gates and suggested I take my dog to him. I did. He said he thought he could help him. Twelve years later, I finally lost my beloved Mike... read more

Good care but long waits I've taken my cats to these vets for years because they are near my home. I'm happy with the care. My one complaint is that they do not take appointments for regular care. If you happen to hit a busy time you can wait a long time to see a vet. Bring a book.

What great care! Our golden went to Dr. Gates at PVAH for 10 years and we received nothing but genuine concern and quality vet care. When we had to let her go after 14 years and an illness she couldn't overcome, we were shown dignity, compassion and excellence in the care and treatment we received. Throughout her care there, they offered alternatives to expensive medicine, discounts and expert recommendations.

amazing service and care When our Golden torn his ACL on his knee, the first vet we went to said our only alternative was an extremely expensive surgery. When we found Dr. Daly, he was concerned and caring, but encouraged us to see how our big guy did naturally, with some supplements. Within 6 weeks it was clear he would be fine. Now he is back to his normal self, without any surgery, just patience and love. That is what I call practical veterinary medicine. We would not dream of taking any of our animals to anyone else.
