Dr. Jamie Plagman is fantastic! Gus absolutely loves her! Recently Gus needed to have his teeth scaled, and I felt 100% confident leaving him with her and the Prairie Creek Pet Hospital staff, knowing they would provide the best care possible. We don’t live in Sioux Falls. In fact, we don’t live in South Dakota. We live in Central Iowa, but very regularly travel to South Dakota (multiple times a year) and we really wanted to get our Border/Aussie mix a vaccination for rattlesnake bites. We did a lot of research and asked a lot of questions and couldn’t find anyone close that could administer the vaccine. Dr. Carr is amazing! If it wasn’t for him and the wonderful staff at prairie creek I don’t know if we would still have our baby! We had taken our 8 year old Rottweiler to many vets who couldn’t figure out what was wrong with her! Dr.Carr listen to us and diagnosed her properly granted the outcome we got wasn’t what we were hoping for (bone cancer). He quoted us under $1000 for amputation of her leg which was half of most places in town! He saved our Medusa puppy and she couldn’t be happier! She is up and running and I haven’... read more
We have always received top notch pet care here. Dr Carr is wonderful and has cared for our dog Tucker for his whole 12 years of life. He treats animals and people with respect and genuine care. We wouldn’t dream fo going anywhere else unless we have to.
