I purchased a ford 5.4 grunting v-8 . They shipped out promptly to us which help us get on the road quicker. When put the motor in everything swapped right over to the new motor.

The motor was installed in my 2007 ford 4x4 and it has run great. The only issue was there was an oil leak on the timing chain cover. I did not notice it at first because I was parking the truck in the grass, then I started parking it in my driveway and each day there was oil under my truck. I took it back to the mechanic and he saw it dripping while the truck was idling from the timing chain cover. I called Stan at Powersource and he asked for pictures which we sent him. In response to Mr. Steele's review, all engines are fully functionality tested immediately before shipping, including pressure testing. His installer clearly overheated the engine as evidenced by melted heat tabs and blown head gaskets on both sides. Most likely he failed to purge the cooling system, leaving an air pocket in the top of the engine. This is one of the most common mistakes made during installation.
