This is a great company to get a motor from, as long as you do what's recommended and by the correct engine for your vehicle you will have no problem. I installed their 4.7 in my Jeep Grand Cherokee and now have 1500 miles on the motor with absolutely no problems. Their customer service I feel it second to none.
DON'T BUY FROM HERE bought one and it was screwed up from the start TWO ford dealers checked it out and found the motor was not rebuilt properly. but together with the timing off. What should have been properly done from the get go can now be done on your dime as their warranty doesn't cover a third of a shops charges. they don't stand behind their product. purchased a 5.3 for my 2011 Yukon very helpful on phone fast delivery came with all gaskets installed with NO issues start up with no issues driving daily for 7 wks now I would highly recommend no problems with return
Very friendly customer service but they're 5.4 L Ford 3 valve V8 motors are garbage they've sent me to that are messed up internally and you become responsible for the repairs that should have been done when the motor was remanufactured very poor quality control I'm on my second motor that's messed up right now and my best option is to keep it and put thousands of dollars into repairing it myself because now I'm afraid if I have a third motor switched out it will be just as bad or worse then the one I'm stuck with now I high... read more
Stan at power source was great, fast and helpfull. 200 miles on my new 6.1 hemi and no issues so far. But I have no doubt that if I do have an issue stan will take care of me. Thanks stan
Howie S.'s engine failed due to severe oil contamination. This was likely caused by the installer failing to clean out some related component, such as an oil cooler. Fortunately, he had purchased the no fault warranty option which will cover installer error. Frankly, since the installer was responsible for the failure, he should not have charged the customer for his mistake.
Worst Company I have dealt with. Warranty is crap. Engine lasted 1500 miles and still cost me over 1k out of pocket to have another new one put in with paying the extra for the no fault warranty. Go somewhere else.
Stan must have put that 3.0 ford engine in the shipping truck while we were on the phone, already in arizona before i could get the old one out. Very fast,affordable,reliable. Great service 5 star
We ordered our engine from PowerSource on a Wednesday and received it on Friday. The mechanic shop was very impressed with the quality of the engine so much that they will be ordering from PowerSource from now on. The core exchange was also easy. They sent a truck to the shop and picked it up. I had the 500 dollars back on my credit card within 30 days. Very satisfied customer!
