The product seems good, although my new rotors needed some serious cleaning to get all the manufacturing grease off of them. This is fine. I would rather do this than have rusty rotors. Where PowerStop falls down is in customer service. Their web site has some nifty you tube links, most of which work. Since I don't do brakes every day, I always RTFM. When one link didn't work I asked customer service about it. The answer was snide, and to the effect "You need a video for that!?" I replied that this was not good customer serv... read more
I bought a set of rotors and pads for my Silverado. Less than 8 months later. My pads on passenger side are grinding into my rotors. Not very happy with their “performance” pads. My factory ones lasted 3 years. I wouldn’t recommend them. My driver side is fine and only a 60 day warranty. Yeah never again and to add they say they don’t rust. Yeah they were rusting after the first week.
I had previously ordered 4 PowerStop rotors for my Mustang. One of the rotors seemed to have a defect in the zinc coating and the hub began to rust (the other 3 still look new). I contacted PowerStop, and Ada in customer service got me hooked up with a replacement pair in just minutes. Amazing products, and even better customer support!
Absolute garbage, and they called me incompetent. Junk junk junk
I installed performance Power Stop calipers on the front of my car in November 2018. Nothing complicated about the install and everything went together easy enough. All was well for a year until a couple weeks ago I start noticing I'm not rolling when stopped on a slight hill (manual vehicle) with my foot off the brake. I inspect my brakes and lo and behold my front passenger rotor is screaming hot. Like throw some snow on it and it sizzles and steams hot. I disassemble the front right brakes and notice that the piston seems... read more
Just installed a kit on my 18’ Toyota Tundra after having such great luck with my 4-Runner kit before. Excellent components and quality finish would highly recommend these brakes for any vehicle.
Looks great and Stop’s better than the rest put them on my 98 mustang gt loved them now I have them on my 2000 Silverado 1500 5.3l and running 35-14.50 -22s
bought a pair of wheel bearing hubs from rockauto that were powerstop. 9 months later, there shot. industry standard is 12month warranty or 3 year. not these cheap pieces of junk. oh no. 3 months because they apparently powerstop (based in Illinois with terrible roads just like indiana) dont believe there crap will hold up. more over, as a truck driver my vehicle is drove either 10miles per day or 10miles per week, 5 days a week. if I have 1500 miles on them I'd be amazed. did customer service want to rectify any of this? no... read more
