I don’t think I ever saw Doctor Powell, I saw a young girl that was telling me that my right eye had no remedy. I was referred here because my regular doctor couldn’t work with the hospital that I was capitales to and he said I needed cataract surgery in my right eye. As soon as I got to this clinic (Powell) they didn’t want to see my referral papers they didn’t want to see my retina doctor referral papers they never checked my right eye they just wanted to juice my insurance. My visit was a great experience. The staff and doctor were pleasant and easy to talk to. Dr. Powell has dedicated her life’s work to the underserved community and should be commended for her efforts in South Central Los Angeles. We need more physicians like her. I recommend her highly.
Dr is nice but has to wait for 1-2 hours...
