Dr. Mansell has helped me immensely to deal with my pain. It was important to me to not be on any type of narcotic medication and he worked with me to find the best solution to help me live a quality life not free of pain but manageable. The opioids came with too many side effects and tolerance problems.
This is a late review, but after reading experiences from others, I decided it would be prudent to add this review. My wife was seen by Dr Mansell after being referred for chronic neck pain. The process of performing a nerve ablation was explained to my wife and I and we were assured she would receive sedation. When Dr Mansell entered the room he seems pre occupied and stated she didn’t need sedation. We had a disagreement with clinic and then they called other pain management clinic's to try to get us not to be able to get procedures done at any other clinic's
I a. On disability been going here for shots had appointment schedule three weeks out calls me on the day of appointment 4 hours before shot and says won't do it unless I have 800 dollars up front , after I had been making payments to him , said it took me to long to pay off, was only like two months before I paid him off on the first and second shots . DONT DO LOCAL .
Dr. Mansell is just awful. Called me for the results of my discogram and told me I wasn’t in pain during the procedure. I was. I was screaming obscenity’s and even made the o2 sensor go out of whack from me squeezing it so hard. I was begging the nurses for pain meds after because I was in such excruciating pain I couldn’t even breathe. He told my spine surgeon I wasn’t in pain so the spine surgeon wasn’t comfortable performing surgery despite what my scans have shown. This entire procedure was traumatizing.
