First time at Pounds was over lunch hour on a Thursday. Burgers were the best we have had in a while in Fargo. I had never had truffle fries before...wow, what a treat! Great first experience!
The food took forever to get there (I only ordered a grilled cheese)... Like 40 minutes. I was on my lunch break so by the time I got my food, it was time for me to go. So I got a to go box, got back to the office, and took a bite. I'm not sure how they call this a cheese sandwich, it was a tomato sandwich with a dusting of cheese. And it tasted awful. The fries were good.... But when the side dish outshines the main course and service, that isn't a good sign.
Went in last Thursday and it took over a half an hour to get our food. There was barely anyone in there at the time we were, so it was confusing that it took that long. There was also a table next to us that sat dirty for almost the entire time that we were there. Seemed as though the servers and bartenders were more interested in talking with people at the bar than paying attention to the other people in the establishment. The truffle oil fries were good, though.
The food here is affordable and AMAZING! It's a nice place with wonderful staff and great atmosphere!
One of my favorite restaurants! Love the chill atmosphere, always have great service and the food is amazing! I have tried most the menu and love it but my favorite is the Asian tang wings and the burgers, great bloody Mary's too!
Loved the homemade type food!! Delicious! And our waiter Kory was great!
