I don’t understand why it’s a big deal for morning commuter buses to get to the origination stops 5 to 10 minutes early; this allows time for people to get on the bus and add fare to their Smartrip cards. As is the M-101, the bus I take, gets to Portsmouth commuter lot at 4:49 or 4:50 (sometimes later) and is causing riders to get to work late. Waited for a late PW Direct bus tonite and got on it at Franconia-Springfield metro station when it finally arrived. As soon as we sat on the bus, we circled the metro parking area and arrived at the exact place we got on and was told to get off the bus without explanation and was told to wait for the next bus. What. An. Inconvenience. WHAT A HASSLE. I wish that this bus system was more stable as I have been inconvenienced more than once.

Some drivers not all are very unprofessional especially when it comes to svcs for the community are late. There responses are sometimes disrespectful. Sometimes they are to early.

Please do yourself a favor and look up slugging, worse bus system ever, lucky if your bus is within 15 mins of scheduled time, plus they don't assist when buses always break down

Buses never stick to a schedule. The mobile app is useless. They raise fares and cut services and then things keep getting worse and worse. I wish I had other options.

On time buses could be better. And if early they don't drive off. Driving off when people are waiting at the bus stop. They could smile and welcome customers on the bus. This is a poor bus service. When I lived in California it was so much better than this. Drivers would always welcome you. Always on time. Also didn't have to wait 45 - 55 minutes between buses. Buses ran every 10-15 minutes.

Couldn't keep a schedule if they tried. Always running late. Being late creates standing room only situations. When ones late you'll have one or two right behind, sometimes running empty because the first one is overcrowded. Makes no sense. Schedule after certain times states buses every ten minutes. I have waited 45 minutes for a bus, only to not even have standing room available. If there were other options, I'd use them.

I strongly recommend you look into a service that gives riders real time updates as to where these buses are. It's extremely frustrating to show up at a stop on time only to find out it was ten minutes early when the last time I took it, it was twenty-five minutes late! The schedule is almost entirely useless and I just want to be able to run my errands in a reasonable time window. I understand that traffic happens, but on a local bus, there's no reason for bus service to be this unreliable AND for riders to be left in suspe... read more
