HORRBLE SERVICE. NEVER AGAIN. CHARGE A GRATUITY 3 PEOPLE BECAUSE YOU SAT AT A TABLE WITH 7 PEOPLE. No wonder she gave us crap service she gets a 20% tip. What BS.
Everything that I've tried on the menu has been great! Nice portion sizes & complimentary rolls (that can be thrown to you!) & fried green tomatoes! Visited several times & will continue to return!
Delicious food, outdated and there is a room for service improvement
We have been going here forever but the food and service has really gotten bad and the atmosphere has gotten really bad along with the cleanliness
I have been going here forever so expected the usual great visit. Boy was I wrong. It started with okra and fried tomatoes that looked like they had been under heat lamps forever. I get my dinner and they were out of my side so they substituted one I did not like Sotheby's took it away. My chopped steak tasted had little taste with raw onions instead of caramelized on top. It and the fries were barely warm. Love the chocolate muffins, of course there were one. I left hungry seeing another restaurant going down.
this morning my husband and I decided to try out the breakfast here. Definitely will NOT return or suggest to anyone. 4 tables during our experience, Amy was our waitress. She took our order, brought out food, then brought check. That was it. I had to ask a different waitress for more coffee after our cups had been empty for over 5 minutes, as well as for butter for toast as it was dry. We used to come here often before they moved to their current location. The pass around service is not the same, no thrower rolls. The wait was crazy long. We ended up leaving because the food took too long.
Me and wife went to your restrant and the service was very bad we waited 45 mins for our drinks, it took 30mins to be seated. By the time me and wife got our drinks the tea was watered domn. Then it took another 30 mins to order our food. Then by the time we got our food everything was soggy and nasty I have never been so unhappy in my life at a restrant. It was really bad food for everyone. The rolls were the only thing good. Our waitress was an idiot. She asks us literally 3 different times if we wanted okra and green tomatoes all of which we said yes. She walked away from our table twice while we were giving her our order. Literally we were talking. We had to wait forever for refills, so we asked for the pitcher of tea so we would have something to drink. Not to mention it was so hot we were sweating. Horrible food and horrible experience!
