Service was horrible so was the food , came here cause I like the fried green tomatoes . Could not even get any the entire time we was here . We will not be back
Needs remodeling and the booth I sat on had a huge hole I sat down I thought I was sinking it's like they just cover it up nasty it didn't used to be nasty I can imagine how the kitchen is
This was my second time at the Potatoe Patch, both times were for large family groups after a funeral. We were seated in a private area, so we had privacy. I am from a small country town, so it was comfortable not to be in a huge impersonal chain restuarant. There were a few glitches, but with a group that large, (30 or more people,) it was minimal. Service has gone very far downhill. Only got one thing of cold fried okra and fried tomatoes. Guy who tosses rolls and muffins out only came around once in the hour that we were there. Food was okay. I will read up on any reviews here before I ever go back

This used to be a great restaurant. Until the owner passed away. Their rolls are still incredible. But what has happened to the fried green tomatoes? The slices of tomatoes are so very thin that you’re only eating batter. That’s the main draw for me. Continues to get worse as the years go by. Sorry.
Souther cooking at its best. Homemade everything, fried green tomatoes and okra with every meal and rolls and muffins flying around n the air on demand. Highly recommend, especially the white chocolate muffins...
I was really looking forward to finally visiting Potatoe Patch. I had passed it many times and never stopped in. Saturday, Mom wanted to go so we did. I have to say I was disappointed. The food was mediocre at best. The service was OK but nothing to write home about. Directly behind our table were 3 five gallon buckets catching water dripping from the ceiling. It wasn’t raining!
