This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a restaurant. My daughter is here visiting and wanted to go back because we always came when she was young. After an hour and a half we still didn’t get any food even after speaking with a manager. We eventually walked out. I have said the service had gone down over the last several years. Hadn’t been to Potato Patch in years and wanted to help small business so I visited last night with my group of 5. Tasty chicken fried steak, CFC, mash potatoes, Mac and cheese, fried okra and fried green tomatoes, sweet potatoes and of course the thrown yeast rolls were delicious! Portions were big. Be Jealous! Hand cut NY Strip served with perfectly seasoned & grilled Shrimp straight outta the gulf! Who said Potatoe Patch just serves fried food?? By the way, the throwed rolls smelled amazing but I had the will power to pass on them. I did not have the will power to pass up on one tiny bite of Turtle Cheesecake just delivered from Red Top Bakery. That one bite was delicious! #supportlocal #keepitlocal

I went specifically for the gulf shrimp and was very pleased. They were large, juicy, not overcooked and flavorful. The order comes with 12 and I only made it to number 9 without overstuffing myself. I saved my roll for last. I love the rolls!
Very friendly staff ... love the environment especially when they throw the buns at you , fried green tomatoes are delish 😋
