Our house is infested with mold. After calling several times and having someone come out to tell us it's "no big deal" we are more than fed up. Calling the city about this mess because they obviously don't care about the safety of their tenants.
I recently had an encounter with Positive Property Management whereby they accepted my money to hold a townhouse and refused to refund it within the 72 hour period allowed. We paid our deposit over the phone as we're relocating from IL to KY. Once we arrived in Nicholasville to close the deal and move in, they showed us another property that was a complete FILTHY MESS. I the beginning I was not very happy (read flat out pissed off) with dealing with Positive Property. But they eventually reasoned with me and fixed some things in my unit that the last property management would not. I wouldn't say I'm thrilled with them but they did right by me in the end.
