I am new to Texas and decided to stop by the first restaurant by myself in Dallas area. I was incredibly impressed at the cordial waitress Whitney who let me know about Texas hospitality. This is one of the best service I've had throughout my travels in this country!I had no idea what half of he menu items were and she took ample time happily explaining every question to me. This is also the first location I have not feel awkward dining by myself due to her kind , pleasant and professional conversation! Thank you
The service was the only thing acceptable about it. I have no idea how anyone could possibly make Mexican food this bad. The ranchero sauce was a sweet tomato sauce that tasted like ketchup, the cheese in the enchiladas was barely melted and chewy, and the most prominent flavor on the chalupa was the iceberg lettuce. The house margarita was $8.50 and weak and mediocre. When we asked if they had hot sauce, the only option was Tabasco. Not even Tapatio or Cholula, but Tabasco.
