The hygienists and doctors have always been great, no problems there. However I can no longer recommend Portsmouth Dental to anyone. They have a long history of problems in the billing department: overcharging, undercharging, sometimes charge at time of visit, sometimes don't, failure to disclose at time of service whether the services will be covered by insurance or not, how much the service will cost, failure to disclose when a service has a lower cost alternative, incorrect codes sent to the insurance, bills lacking in de... read more

Dr May and Dr Royer always make me feel at ease. (I am the biggest baby when it comes to dentist). Dental Hygenist, Jenny, is so gentle and personable. I am thankful to have been led to this practice.

Been a patient for well over 15 years. Didn’t like seeing the dentist when I started seeing her. Many bad dentists in my history as a child. But Dr Royer, Becky the dental hygienist is top notch. I actually enjoy going to the dentist now.
my family has been going to Portsmouth Dental Associates from the beginning. All staff there are very accommodating and kind. I have had procedures completed from both Dr. Royer and Dr. May and have been very satisfied with explanations and options. Everyone has a comforting domineer about them. Jenny is a very thorough hygienist with a gentle touch. We would recommend this office for all of your family dental needs. Maynard Ouger.
Dr. Royer and Dr. May are excellent dentists! Their staff, especially Becky and Jenny are amazing dental hygienists. Diane at the front desk is friendly and helpful. Our family has been seeing them for nearly FIFTEEN years!
