Great experience! – I have finally found my permanant waxer. Least pain ever, gets every hair, doesn't leave me sticky, comfy atmosphere, good conversation...what more could I expect?
Deserves more than 5 stars – I live in NYC and travel to Portland regularly. I always get waxed by Lisa at Portland waxing because she is far superior to anyone I ever tried in NYC. She's fast, friendly, professional and very detailed in her work. She has a private waiting room where you don't get gawked at like in so many salon type places. Very comfortable for a guy to go to.
Great Wax, No Drama – I am a little girl when it comes to pain. When I was five, I fell off of my bicycle and cried for a week. The same thing happened two months ago. Best in the business! – It's hard for a guy to find a wax in Portland. It's even harder for a guy to find a good wax. Add in not wanting to feel creepy by going into a girly spa place and I thought it was impossible until I found Lisa at Portland Waxing. She gave me a great wax and her place is very gender neutral. Nothing but waxing. It's a good thing. – I think that the thing that makes Lisa stand out in her profession is that she just waxes. Waxing, that's it...no facials, no peels, no nothing but waxing and when you do only one thing, you get really, really good at it and it's that simple...Lisa is really, really good at it.
