I have been a patient there for quite a few years but have never had anything serious until now. I havent been able to eat or drink for 2 months. The doctor put me on a prescription medication. My issue didnt resolve. After calling numerous times over a 3 week period, and losing 20 pounds, I ended up seeing a GI doctor in Boston. He couldnt believe my problem went on for so long. Found out I have an issue with my esophagus. It is obvious that Dr. Mayas does not care about her patients.

At best, they're incompetent. At their worse, they're out to make as much money as possible with unnecessary, invasive tests. See them at your own health and financial peril.
I was referred to them by my doctor and they called a few weeks later and left a message. I called three different times and was on hold for over 20 minutes each time. I never spoke to a human being I finally called my doctor back and I'm having my procedure done at Mercy. Today a friend of mine posted that he got put on hold for over 10 minutes so the woman who answered the phone could laugh at a daytime talk show. How did he know this?
