Portland Floor recently did the upper level and stairs at my parents' house, and we couldn't be happier with the results. Ben's team did an awesome job—especially on the stairs, which turned out absolutely beautiful. They were efficient, kept everything clean throughout the process, and the acacia wood flooring looks stunning. Highly recommend!
We walked into the Canyon Rd store while over on that side of town and I felt like a kid in a candy store. They have so many samples, I was in floor heaven. Simona helped explain the difference between Vinyl & Hardwood products and the pros and cons for our space. She laid everything out in the window lighting side by side so we could compare, then let us check out multiple large samples to bring home to see in our space. A wide-awake nightmare. The WORST company I’ve ever hired. BEWARE. They lied, failed to finish work, didn’t remedy bad work, charged for goods never delivered, were no-shows, didn’t honor warrantees. The SALES GUY, Ryan, pretended to be a project manager & then did not know how to or even try to manage job, did not show up, did not answer (30+) phone calls or at least as many texts. Even Though there were some hiccups along the way the overall experience with Portland Floor was great. We were left with one of the most beautiful floors I have ever seen, it really changed the look of our house. Update: since posting my original review, I have updated my rating from 1 star to 3 stars due to the quality of the installation which we are very happy. Also, once Dion got involved, communication significantly improved. Unfortunately the installers were still not told that we had paid extra to have them add screws to our subfloor where it was creaking, but luckily my husband told them before it was too late and then helped them with adding the screws.
