It is definitely a 5 star place. Loved the waitress and the manager. Food was excellent too. I had the Macadamia Crusted Chicken. Yummy.
Great atmosphere, especially if you get a window seat on a nice day. We only had drinks.
This ranks as one of the best dining experiences in my life. It was to celebrate my 72 birthday with my wife. The staff was superb our server, Sarah, was the best of them all. The views, the food, the wine. Couldnt have spent a better day in Portland OR.

Service was anazing! Definetly felt like royalty. I was there with my bestfriend for her birthday, and this was a special meal, not just because it was her birthday but because it was a special splurge money wise for us. They sat us by the window even though we were 2 hours early for our reservation! They sprinkled happy birthday confetti on the table and her a signed birthday card. The manager even said hi to us. I would recommend Happy Hour but the dining experience left a little to be desired for the prices charged. Went to celebrate my SO’s 50th bday and it didn’t feel special compared to other places I’ve been aside from the view. The service was mediocre and was disappointed since I had heard good things about this restaurant. The soup tasted like a cross between chili & pasta e fagioli. Odd!
Definitely recommend Portland City Grill...food was great and piano bar was fantastic.
First of all we are from LA, it's our first time dining here. We had a reservation at 8pm and had chosen this restaurant to celebrate our 22nd year anniversary. We got seated 10-15 mins late. Thought it was dressy attire, sadly most people here were wearing jeans, caps, tennis shoes or hooded sweatshirts. Not classy at all if you are expecting fine dining and all that.
