The grilled salmon was great! It had a light seasonal sauce which had an apple base drizzled over the top. Fish was fresh and cooked perfectly. Would go again :)
I have never been so humiliated in my whole life. I have gone there with my husband and my baby for three times already and even though one time they prepared stuffed lobster instead of boiled one as I have ordered, for the three times it went ok. Basically a regular now.All staff are great to us!
Was there Saturday and the Port Chop dinner was great as usual. However the waiter rushed the hell out of the three of us . He said that as we sat down to order quickly as they expected a large crown soon. Not my problem. He continued the rush throughout the meal. When he presented the bill we delayed paying for some time just to get some control over the situation. His tip reflected the service. Mush less that we usually give. Will come back again as this was most unusual. Always good food value here.
I was in the Function Room, not the Restaurant but the Food and Service was Very Good ! I live in New Hampshire but I will definitely try the Restaurant next time I am down that way.
Best chowder around.I come here often for chicken cordon blue. Yes the decor is outdated but the food is delicious and worth the visit !
had lunch there today blooming onion not cooked raw batter inside, captains appitizer plate was stop and shop frozen at best, tasteless asked for desert menu and after sitting for 10 minutes waiting to place order got the check instead!! I finaly got to order grape nut custard got a big hunk of plastic wrap in it and it was so old it was the consistency of cheddar cheese, onion soup was delicious though but for $40. next time we will just go to Mcdonalds and get a mani pedi with what I saved!
Excellent food. Great atmosphere !
